A heat-resistant glass teapot cradled in a sculpted maiden-and-branch base. Set a cup underneath and the pot pours on its own; lift the cup away and it stops. No tap to turn, no button, no lid to hold back with your thumb.
The base holds the pot over a valve that opens when a cup presses up under the spout and closes the moment you take it away. You get a clean, unhurried pour one-handed, and nothing drips on the table between cups.
It's a gongfu set: small cups, several short infusions, made for two to four people sitting around one table rather than one big mug.
Rinse the glass by hand and keep the sculpted base well out of it — resin and hot detergent don't get along.
